Step 2: Prepare the soil.
- After soaking, spread the seeds evenly over the soil surface with enough space for the plants to grow.
- Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil about 0.5 cm to prevent the seeds from drying out, then water gently.
Step 3: Sowing the seeds
- Water regularly, making sure the soil is always moist but not too waterlogged.
- Place the pot or bed in a sunny location, coriander grows well with 4-6 hours of sunlight each day.
- When the plants are about 5-7 cm tall, you can prune the weaker plants to allow stronger ones to grow.
Step 1: Incubate the seeds
- Choose quality coriander seeds, soak the seeds in warm water for about 6-8 hours to help the seeds germinate easily.
- Prepare loose, nutritious, well-drained soil.
You can use specialized vegetable soil or mix the soil with organic fertilizer.
Step 4: Care and Harvest
- After about 20-25 days, when the coriander has grown into a plant about 10-15 cm tall, you can start harvesting.
- Use scissors to cut the coriander plant close to the base so that the plant continues to grow new shoots, helping to harvest continuously.
Note: Coriander is a tropical vegetable that is very suitable for growing in hot climates such as Southeast Asia, the Philippines, and South America. It is a commonly used herb that helps enhance the flavor and color of dishes.
